The Battle of Humans and the Machine. My dreams are movies.

Mining for artistic potential=exploiting!

I dreamed some humans were in battle with machine and other humans with awesome gunfire to destroy things little knowing that the machine are just protecting themselves against us. They are higher intelligence objects so they abhor violence and suffering. Humans are lower intelligence so we like to kill and destroy and have apathy. Just a dream.

It has been more than a week or so since I took lithium or anything medical. I am not hungry or bloated now. No sleeping meds means not sleeping well. This is because I have not been able to find a way to sleep naturally through learning. This is called plasticity of the brain. It can be changed and therefore change your mind. As I have said before the brain is the place where the you exists and created from molecules in a complex chemical process in water and fat and of course blood with an expiration date. It doesn’t mean anything so make it fun. Dopamine and other brain chemical with many syllables are fun. This is the meaning of life to make life less miserable. The result of this process(a black box) is you and interactions with people and environments. The need for a soul is then gone. The soul is the water in there, perhaps. The digital computer is very different from human brain even with several hundred processors and a model of the neural network. It does learn but only in a limited sense as a real soul is not like this it is ikky and full of fat. If you can somehow simulate the fat and water and such of a brain in a linked list(object oriented?) then you can create a soul. What about self-awareness? Look in the mirror and see that it is in fact you. Animals do this. Nothing special for monkeys.

Funny I forget what I wanted to talk about as I didn’t write it down. Damn it! OK I remember now. I thought that since a blackhole can be represented as a metric of Ricci flat four dimensional spherically symmetric spacetime. Then you throw in the quantum field theory and compute things with a vacuum on a on a subspace called something, but its just a name its a three dimensional space that evolves to fill the whole spacetime. Something happens then. You get things that are exactly thermodynamics with entropy and such. So you just same the spacetime around a Schwarschild solution is thermodynamic system. So we went from geometry to quantum field in geometry to discuss spacetime. So I make the bold statement that spacetime is a thermodynamic system. In fact, any manifold is capable of being a thermodynamic system, see Bousso’s work and more ambitious “M-Theory and Time”.  So spacetime on some scale looks like a thermodynamics of quantum states. So there is no chance of closed time like curves in this view of spacetime, you have the chronological protection conjecture! Physics means no time travel even in wormholes as wormholes are thermodynamic as well. Too bad. A science fiction movie about the impossibility of closed timelike curves would be awesome.
